On 20th January 2022 in Gdańsk KB Pomorze Sp. z o.o. signed a memorandum of understanding with Westinghouse Electric Company. The agreement concerns potential cooperation in the scope of AP 1000 reactor modules fabrication as part of the Polish Nuclear Power Program and future projects using AP 1000 technology in Central and Eastern Europe. The development of nuclear energy in Poland is necessary taking into consideration the climatic and economic condition of our country. We hope that our production resources shall provide key support for the planned projects. Based on our extensive experience in the oil & gas industry, our staff and equipment resources, including the new-built Pipe Spools Fabrication Plant, can be easily reorganized and focused on activities in the energy sector.
